Booking Open Hearts

John Reese and Open Hearts have been performing in Northern California since 1999. The band plays original music, mostly written by John, in a captivating folk-rock style with jazz and new age overtones. Their influences include James Taylor, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Bruce Cockburn and John Mellencamp.

John Reese and Open Hearts typically bring their own sound equipment, scaled to match the size of the venue. Their wide variety of styles makes their music equally suitable for small rooms, dance halls, and large outdoor events. The band also books as an acoustic trio for very intimate settings.
